Do you have broken, damaged, or badly decayed teeth that have you hiding your mouth at every opportunity? In Fort Worth, Dr. Gary White and our team want you to feel confident about the health and beauty of your smile. That’s why we offer customized dental crowns. These restorations “cap” the affected tooth restoring function and appearance and protecting natural structure from further damage.
The Dental Crown Process
Once we’ve determined that a crown is the right choice for your smile, receiving your restoration requires two appointments. During the first, Dr. White prepares the tooth in question and takes impressions that we send to our trusted lab. In the meantime, he’ll provide a temporary crown. We offer crowns crafted from precious metals, porcelain fused to metal, and full porcelain. In most cases, we recommend choosing porcelain crowns as they restore not only the tooth’s health but its natural beauty as well. They’re also extremely durable and long lasting.
Once we’ve received the permanent crown from our lab, we’ll invite you back to our Fort Worth dental practice to securely place it. Dental crowns should be treated just like regular teeth with daily brushing, flossing, and routine check-ups with Dr. White.
We welcome patients of all ages in Fort Worth! Contact the dental office of Dr. Gary White today if you have questions or you’re ready to schedule your first appointment. We’re located on Hulen Street and we serve Aledo, Weatherford, and beyond.
